ABOUT OUR COMPANY:
We are a licensed, insured and bonded professional pet sitting business based out of Campbell, CA. We are a 5-star YELP company. We require the highest integrity of our employees, and excellent communication skills. Being technology savvy, being responsible, having a big heart and being calm are a must. All of our pet sitters are treated as part of a professional team. We pitch in and try to be flexible with our other team members so we each can pursue our passions, vacations and projects to a greater degree than a "normal" job would offer. The job is super rewarding, but it is not always an easy job, and requires a lot of flexibility and the willingness to learn, get dirty and pay attention to be successful.
Pet Sitter / Dog Walker
Pet sitters provide in-client-home care (indoors and outdoors) for dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, fish, amphibians, reptiles, small animals, and more in 30, 45 and 60-minute sits. Pet sitters also provide minor home services like taking in the newspaper, rotating the lights, and putting the garbage on the street. You may be asked to administer medication to animals orally, topically, or by injection.
We provide most or all of your supplies and training. Paid training. Part-time. Hours per week vary based on pet needs and work can get heavy when someone goes on vacation. Work is year-round, but there is more work around summer and holidays. We get heavily booked during several holiday and vacation seasons throughout the year.
Pay varies from $16-30/hr. Pay is according to sit time and does not include driving time. You would be driving from sit to sit, so a reliable vehicle and clean DMV is a must. You are paid as an EMPLOYEE. This job is not recommended as your primary source of income because it is variable (3-10 hours per week depending on availability, demand and level of expertise). Regular sitters average $700-$1500 a month depending on availability.
